Hafman movie, which I made for the VFX show reel competition in frameboxx institute. (the VFX training institute in Bangalore). I hope that at least it will make it to the top 10, hey!! at least I participated.
The initial script of the movie was this.

A young scientist accidentally discovers a formula for a Weapon of Mass Destruction (WMD). He hides the formula from others but some thoughts keep lingering in him and he is disturbed. Suddenly the WMD is used to destroy some parts of the world and he is clueless as to who is doing it. He sets out to find who stole his formula and is destroying planet earth. He then finds out that he has a split personality and he himself was planting the WMD and is destroying the world.
What does he do now? How does he save the world? |
If the final outcome of the movie is not this, then please blame it on time, fatigue and losing interest due to time and fatigue and of course my current skill level.
This movie seriously racked my brain and my poor computer. But the good thing is that I learnt a lot from this exercise and I am sure my next effort will be much better.

Ok finally, great work. But PLEASE hire a professional actor
In the scene where you are looking into the mirror and suddenly u have this whole ‘hero’ look with shades etc, I almost fell off my chair
But nice work haf!!

Managed to see it at home yesterday as video is blocked at office.
Great visual FX, you have learnt a lot Haf. I gave up learning Maya after 3 months due to time constraints, but you did it!
Kept smiling when I saw the trailer, but I guess that’s because we all know you. J
Show it to a stranger and you will get a real response.
Now all you need to do is slowly and gradually build a portfolio of the assignments you win.

1. On hafman video u do n’t look like a scientist. May be some makeup is required.
2. One can make out that u have super imposed the image because of the background. A human being can’t reach out to such levels unless he is doing some action.
3. On the Saree ad, kutty told that she shud have wore a saree instead of gown/skirt.
